Irish organisation Music Network did a great job in organising us a beautiful tour through Ireland. Watch some fotos in the album on the sidebar. We played in Dublin castle, Navan, Bray, Avoca, Wexford, Cork, Tullamore and Ennis. Tour bus driver and multitalent Peter was taking care of us. QNG toured through the States. We had concerts in Mobile/AL, San Francisco, Costa Mesa/CA and Erie/PA and did masterclasses and outreach activities. Watch our foto album on the sidebar. The Première and all the following performances of „Airlines“ – a recently for QNG written work by young Polish composer Wojtek Blecharz (doing his PhD in San Diego) – were especially successful.

In San Francisco we met our dear Amsterdam friend Dan and had drinks and food at his brother´s.

QNG´s concert in Oberstdorf/Germany (5 aug 2007) is broadcasted on 15th november at 19.05 by Bayern 4 Klassik.
QNG did start its 10th season! We began the year with a première of „Ping-Pong“ by Ulrich Schultheiß at the „WDR Nachtkonzert“ in Cologne and a performance at music festival „Fränkischer Musiksommer“.
In order to have a new QNG-look in 2008/09 we did a foto-shooting with our fotographer friend Astrid Neumann wearing our new designed outfits (by Joanna Papalexandri-Alexandri).
QNG is also proud to announce that the booking agency „Konzertagentur Esslinger“ took QNG into its rooster. We are looking forward to a great cooperation.
Our new CD will be released in early 2009 by Label „Genuin“. We will keep our friends informed about the exact release date.
QNG is further working on a new homepage, which should be ready for the start of 2009.
German radio station SWR 2 will be broadcasting parts of a concert done on 21st July 2007 in Gustav Siegle Haus in Stuttgart. During the programm JetztMusik on 22nd october at 23:03 you can hear Mensingh´s „2007 – A Space Odyssey“, Beeferman´s „Passages“, De Kemp´s „Lieto“, Meijering´s „Sitting Ducks“ and the permiere of David Kosviner´s „In a world of agitated air“.
QNG did participate at Darmstädter Ferienkurse, where young composers and performers from all over the world followed lectures, masterclasses and concerts. Prestigous composers like Brian Ferneyhough, Wolfgang Riem, György Kurtag a.o. where present during these days and it was a great and intensive time of learning, exchanging ideas and making friends.
We premiered „Zahir“ – prize winning work by Italian composer Franco Venturini, who had attended the „Modern Recorder Composition Competition“. The prize had been founded by Küng Recorder Manufactury Switzerland.

Singapore invited artists from more than 20 countries and also invited QNG! It offers more than 500 activities within a 4-week festival. In our two main performances at 8 pm in Jubilee Hall on 17th and 18th we performed works by Michiel Mensingh, Paul Moravec, Dorothée Hahne, Gordon Beeferman, Petros Ovsepyan a.o. QNG was back in the studio. The CD is part of our prize at German Music Competition 2006. We recorded in the studio halls Deutschlandfunk in Köln cooperating with the label „Genuin„/Leipzig. We will keep you posted about the release!!
