QNG plays film music of German short-movie

German film director and writer Christoph Zachariae asked QNG to record a soundtrack for his short movie „Nur ein Traum“. The music is written by Stefan Ziethen. We recorded in the studio of the University of the Arts in Berlin together with sound technician Gero. Watch excerps of „Nur ein Traum“ here.

QNG in Toulouse/France

A beautiful trip was our concert tour to Toulouse. We were welcomed very warmely by people of the organisation „Leben in Midi-Pyrenees“, who did a great job bringing a lot of audience to our concerts in Toulouse and a beautiful old monk´s farm/cloister run by the „Association Les Amis du Mesnil Saint Martin“ on the countryside. Furthermore we did two educational concerts for kids of the International and German School of Toulouse as an activity by the organisation „Rhapsody in School“. Thanks!

QNG collaborated with Stimmwerck

Vocal ensemble Stimmwerck and QNG had been invited by the „International Paul Hofhaymer Gesellschaft“ to perform a concert together. It took place on 12th december in the „Künstlerhaus“ in Salzburg. For the programm we selected Franco-Flemish polyphonic love songs and their arrangements and diminutions by Josquin, Senfl, Gombert, Agricola, Gallus and Clemens non Papa. The central piece was the première of „Aestus erat“ by Viennese composer Michael Amann for doubble quartet with texts out of the „Amores“ by Roman poet Ovidius. Read an article in Salzburg´s online culture-newspaper here.

QNG performing with 4th grade primary school pupils in Augsburg

The beautiful Parktheater Göggingen was the venue for a special concert in Augsburg last november. Around 25 pupils of the Friedrich-Ebert-Primary school did perticipate in the piece „Soundings IV“ by American composer David Keberle. QNG furthermore gave a workshop-presentation in the local Albert-Greiner-Musicschool by talking, playing and improvising with the students about and around the topic „The recorder in Contemporary Music“. The concert was attended especially well. Read the critic here.
