QNG at Classical:NEXT in Munich

Die erste Ausgabe der Classical:NEXT, des neuen Fachforums für klassische Musik in München, endete am Samstag, dem 2. Juni, nach vier intensiven Tagen in denen eine Fachmesse mit Konferenz, ein Showcase Festival und Filmvorführungen stattfanden. Classical:NEXT zog über 700 Fachbesucher aus 39 Ländern aus aller Welt nach München und übertraf damit alle Erwartungen. QNG trat im Abschlusskonzert auf und „…legte entsprechend den Fokus auf modernes und zeitgenössisches Repertoire in kurzen, prickelnden Aufführungen, ein Wink in Richtung dessen, was „NEXT“ sein kann in der Welt der Klassik…“ (PressRelease Classical:Next)

The first edition of Classical:NEXT, the new professionals forum for classical music in Munich, ended on Saturday, June 2, after four bustling days featuring an expo, a conference, a showcase festival and film screenings. The event attracted more than 700 delegates from 39 countries around the world, thereby exceeding all expectations. QNG performed at the Closing Event and „…placed a strong emphasis emphasis on modern and contemporary repertoire in short, sparkling performances, a nod to what’s ‚NEXT‘ in the world of classical…“ (Press Release Classical:NEXT)

QNG & Calmus ensemble: combined in „Blaze of Glory“!

QNG & Calmus premiered their program „Blaze of Glory“ containing beautiful works by Jannequin, Victoria, Dufay, Desprez, Gesualdo, Walter a.o. and the brand new piece Sacred Love Songs by Paul Moravec during the series „Early Music Now“ in Milwaukee (WI). Read a review at „Third Coast Digest“.

WKCR – FM (10-11pm) is a weekly program features a live in-studio performance.

QNG on tour in the U.S.

Exciting times lay ahead. During the upcoming U.S. tour QNG will premiere three new pieces written by the american composers Paul Moravec and Yotam Haber and chinese composer Qin Yi. Furthermore QNG will collaborate with the reknown JACK string quartet and the amazing singers from Calmus Ensemble. Concerts will take place at the „MATA“ festival in New York City, „Early Music Now“ in Milwaukee, the „Virginia Arts Festival“ in Portsmouth and the Trinity Concert Series in Peoria.
